How to charge at an AmpForce Charging Station

1. Download the AmpForce App

Our app is available for iOS and Android.

2. Register for an account via the app

You will need to provide your mobile phone number and email address. The mobile # is used to uniquely identify your account, and your email will be used for invoices and transaction receipts.

You will also need to provide a default payment method. Our app supports major credit cards as well as digital wallets such as Google or Apple Pay. We encourage users to use digital wallets for extra security and convenience.

3. Find an AmpForce Charger

Our app can help you locate nearby chargers via its interactive map feature. Note that some AmpForce stations may be reserved for private use by their owners and will not be available to the general public. For such stations, the station owner must add your account to the list of authorized users. The app will only show AmpForce stations that your account has access to.

4. Begin Charging

Once our system has verified that you are allowed access to the station and your account is in good standing, you may begin charging your EV. At this point you can track progress in the app to see your current charge level as well as the estimated total charges. You can also specify a maximum charge level or stop charging altogether, though you may be charged idling fees if your vehicle remains connected to the charger.

5. Finish Charging

When you are done, the charging session will be saved to your account and you will be able to review it. You will also be invoiced according to the charging rates set by the charger’s owner. Please pay promptly to avoid any penalties to your account.
