For Commercial
Lot Owners

AmpForceEV offers two ways for you to install and run our chargers on your
commercial lot: the owner-operator approach and the joint-venture approach.

Generate Passive Revenue

Installing EV chargers is a great way to attract customers to local businesses and generate extra revenue at the same time. With smart chargers connected to the Internet, EV owners can discover the availability of charging spots in real time and drop by to visit local businesses while charging their vehicles. If parking is limited or the stalls equipped with chargers are well situated, drivers may choose to use the chargers simply to secure a good parking spot.

How we can help

AmpForceEV offers two ways for you to install and run our chargers on your commercial lot: the owner-operator approach and the joint-venture approach.

Owner-Operator:

You own the chargers and their operation outright, with support from us. This gives you full control over the operation and allows you to set pricing, control the branding, and manage other aspects of the operation. You pay for the chargers, the installation, and any required upgrades to your electrical infrastructure. You pay the cost of the provided electricity, and you also pay us a monthly subscription fee (which is negotiable for non-profits). We collect charging fees from drivers at the rates you set, plus our transaction processing fee, and we remit the charging revenue back to you. In BC, we also collect carbon credits that the chargers generate on your behalf, sell them on the carbon credit market, and remit an agreed-upon share of the revenue back to you. This option has higher upfront costs but has the best long-term potential to generate revenue for your parkade, increase the value of your property, and showcase your commitment to the ongoing transition to green energy. Furthermore, as sole owner-operator, you may also be eligible for tax rebates or other incentives.

Joint Venture:

You enter into a partnership with us to jointly manage the operation, sharing both costs and revenues. We share in the initial expense of the chargers and installation, and we also share the charging revenue and (in BC) the value of the generated carbon credits according to our initial agreement. You do not pay any ongoing subscription fees, and the cost of electricity is an expenditure of the joint venture. This option has lower upfront costs and is ideal for businesses that want to offer EV charging in order to attract customers but otherwise seek to minimize their expenses and risk exposure.

Whichever option you choose, AmpForceEV will provide the chargers, find electricians to do the installation, and provide 24/7 after-care technical support.
